Tom Ottey / Pam McGarvey leave the start of SS1 in their Hyundai Elantra. Cal Landau / Eric Marcus blast away from the start of SS1 in their Mitsubishi Eclipse.
Mitch McCullough / John Elkin blast through the first few corners of SS1 in their Mazda 323GTX. Bruce Newey / Charles Bradley in their Toyota Celica All-trac were the lone Group A entrant. Steve Gingras / Bill Westrick were fast from the get-go in their PGT Mitsubishi Eclipse. Mike Hurst / Rob Bohn were a perennial favorite in their Nissan 200SX seen here in the Huron Mts.
Tad Ohtake / Bob Martin start off SS1 during a heavy rain storm in their Ford Escort GT. Gail Truess / Paul Truess were a DNF on day one in their Chevy Citation seen here at speed on SS1. Carl Redner / Nancy Redner were a DNF on day one in their Mazda RX-7. Chris Czyzio / Eric Carlson take their Plymouth Arrow down a fast forest road in the Huron Mountains.
