Steve Gingras / Bill Westrick were fast from the get-go in their PGT Mitsubishi Eclipse. Mike Hurst / Rob Bohn were a perennial favorite in their Nissan 200SX seen here in the Huron Mts. Tad Ohtake / Bob Martin start off SS1 during a heavy rain storm in their Ford Escort GT. Gail Truess / Paul Truess were a DNF on day one in their Chevy Citation seen here at speed on SS1.
Carl Redner / Nancy Redner were a DNF on day one in their Mazda RX-7. Chris Czyzio / Eric Carlson take their Plymouth Arrow down a fast forest road in the Huron Mountains. Janice Damitio / Amity Trowbridge slop on through the rain in their Toyota Celica All-trac. Brian Pepp / Dean Rushford DNF'ed a few stages later when their Mazda RX-7 became submerged in chest-high water on Herman stage.
Jerry Sweet / Stuart Spark SAAB 99 at speed on SS1 in the Huron Mountains. Dave Turner / Ben Bradley Mitsubishi Pickup rockets down SS1. John Vanlandingham / Tom Gillespie at speed on the muddy roads of the Huron Mountains in their SAAB 96. Pete Lahm / Jimmy Brandt slop through the slippery stages in the Huron Mts. in their Datsun 510.
