The Antoine L'Estage / Nathalie Richard Hyundai Tiburon battled for the lead in the early going of the event. The Matt Iorio / Ole Holter Subaru Impreza looked fast all weekend and tried for a repeat of their 2006 STPR victory. The Andrew Comrie-Picard / Marc Goldfarb Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 9 blasts down a high-speed straight. The Andrew Comrie-Picard / Marc Goldfarb Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 9 slung gravel on SS3, but DNF'ed by midday.
