John Buffum subbed for his stepson Paul Choinere and teamed with Jeff Becker as his navigator in the Audi Quattro S2. The Doug Shepherd / Pete Gladysz Eagle Talon finishes SS1, Beacon Hill The Henry Joy IV / Brian Maxwell Mitsubishi Eclipse comes across the finish of the SS1 line. Jamaican Chris Issa rented the Bruno Kreibich Audi Quattro and had Dan Sprongl navigating, however they were an early DNF.
Peter Moodie / Michael Fennell in their Mazda 323GTR blast into the final corners of SS1. Steve Gingras / Bill Westrick finish SS1, Beacon Hill, in their Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX. Greg Lund / Lynne Lund finish SS1, Beacon Hill, in their Mazda 323GTX. The Cal Landau / Eric Marcus Mitsubishi Eclipse were an early DNF on day one seen here at the end of SS1, Beacon Hill.
Tom Ottey / Pam McGarvey in their Mazda 323GTX at the finish of SS1. Sam Bryan / Rob Walden SAAB 900 comes into the finish of SS1. Goran Ostlund / Steve Baker SAAB 99 come into the finish of SS1, Beacon Hill Rene Villemure / Mike Villemure in their VW Beetle kick up leaves near the finish of SS1.
