The Bruce Newey / Charles Bradley Toyota Celica All-trac took sixth overall, first in Group A.
The Carl Merrill / John Bellefleur Ford Escort Coswort RS DNF'ed atop Brockway Mt. Bruce Newey / Charles Bradley in their Toyota Celica All-trac took an easy approach to the Brockway Mt. jump. Henry Joy IV / Chris Griffin Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 2 was the overall winner as a vast majority of the front-runners dropped out. The Sam Bryan / Rob Walden SAAB 900 was a surprising 2nd overall, and 1st in Group 2!
Mike Hurst / Rob Bohn had a surprise podium finish taking 3rd overall, and second in Group 2, in their Nissan 200SX. The Bruce Newey / Charles Bradley Toyota Celica All-trac took sixth overall, first in Group A. John Vanlandingham / Tom Gillespie were 8th overall, fourth in Group 2, in their SAAB 96. Jerry Sweet / Stuart Spark SAAB 99EMS was fifth overall, third in Group 2.
Chris Czyzio / Eric Carlson took their Plymouth Arrow to 11th overall, second in Open class. Dave Turner / Ben Bradley Mitsubishi Pickup took 13th overall, first in Truck class. The Jeff Bothee / Tom Beltman Plymouth Arrow took 14th overall, fourth in Open. Cal Landau / Eric Marcus took 4th overall, 1st in PGT, in their Mitsubishi Eclipse seen here at the end of Gratiot Lake 2.
