Doug Shepherd and Joe Andreini were first car on stage at Ojibwe '88 in their new Dodge Daytona. They finished third overall. Bill Holmes / Jean Lindamood rocket from the start of the stage throwing rooster-tails from their Ford F-150. Bruno Kreibich and Clark Bond rocket into the first turn in their Audi Quattro. Paul Choinere won his first Ojibwe Pro Rally in 1988. Scott Weinheimer was his co-driver that year.

Dan Gilliland / Betty-Ann Gilliland took 8th overall, second in PGT in their Dodge Shadow. Niall Leslie / Brian Maxwell took 10th overall, 1st in P class in their Toyota Corolla GTS.
