Dan Gilliland / Betty Ann Gilliland at the fairground super special stage in their Open class AMC Eagle. They DNF'ed. The Jon Woodner / Tony Sircombe Peugeot 205 T16 at speed on SS1 at the speedway.
Rod Millen / Harry Ward at the fairground super special stage in their All-wheel drive Open class Mazda RX-7. John Buffum / Tom Grimshaw Audi Sport Quattro S2 Rod Millen / Harry Ward blast down SS2 in their Open class Mazda RX-7. Bruno Kreibich / Clark Bond Audi Quattro on SS2.
Doug Shepherd / Ginny Reese in their factory Dodge Shelby Turbo took fourth overall and the GT win. Steve Nowicki / David Stone DNF'ed in their Group A Nissan 200SX later in the event. The Larry Schmidt / Jerry Welc Dodge Shelby Turbo took fifteenth overall and third in GT. Richey Watanabe / Howie Watanabe blast down SS2 in their Gr. A Toyota Corolla GTS.
